City of Hope, Duarte 2025

The inspiration for City of Hope proposals is stemming from Atelier Manferdini interest in the immersive effects that vast landscapes can inspire into the viewers.

City of Hope artwork is called Bloom. Inspired by the Silk Floss and Easter Redbud trees in the hospital gardens, the artwork translates their colors and forms into a vibrant motif. Its expansive scale and immersive composition create an uplifting visual experience, offering patients a moment of introspection and optimism. The interplay of hues and organic patterns fosters a sense of vitality, reinforcing the hospital’s mission of hope and scientific progress.

Bloom reminds us that nature—whether experienced directly or through artistic interpretation—remains an essential force in healing, resilience, and the pursuit of a healthier future.
