Botanical is a collection of 3 hand-tufted rugs designed by Elena Manferdini for Lindstrom. 80% NZ wool and 20% fine silk. In particular, the designs take on the painting genre called “Natura Morta” (Italian for “Still Life”) an academic exercise in composition, color and texture. The rugs are named: Still Life with Flowers; Cedro -Still Life with Leaves; Monstera -Still Life with Panicles; Heliconia.
