PURPLE RAIN, IQHQ-RaDD, 2024

Purple Rain consists of a large digitally printed landscape—that covers the aluminum panels of the IQHQ-RaDD building facade. Drawing inspiration from the purple-carpet effect of jacaranda's fallen blossoms in San Diego during spring, Purple Rain immerses the audience into a contemplative state, inviting them into a conversation with nature. The expansive scale of the artwork creates an unexpected and deeply personal experience for the audience.
