Smart Ring, 2024

“Not a Formality” is a collection of 12 smart rings designed for the International Design and Innovation Research Institute in Tongji University, Shanghai. The series of uniquely colored 3D printed rings is part of a project on the role of wearable electronics device acting as an extension of contemporary smartphones. Loaded with mobile components like sensors and NFC chips, Bluetooth chip, battery, microcontroller, and light indicator, today smart rings are used for a variety of applications.
