King's Road competition entry, Los Angeles 2006
A competition entry for the MAK Center Vertical Garden Competition, the garden wall is a vertical sandwich of dynamically undulating layers, which diverge and coalesce along the south property edge. The reflective surface of the golden-finished stainless steel combined with the diamond shaped structure behave like 3-Dimensional lacework, creates a dynamic screening and filtering effect which buffers the Schindler House from its present surroundings.
